Troubled and I Don't Know Why
Blowin in the Wind
Only two songs show up on this excellent sounding tape, and unfortunately one of them (Blowin' in the Wind) is cut off. Joan Baez sings on both, so it could be that these songs come from Joan's set rather than Bob's. Anybody know for sure? Anyway, Troubled and I Don't Know Why shows up here in the only version that I know of. It's not a bad song, although a little light as Dylan protest circa 1963 goes. The song is full of humor and shares some of the same feeling of alienation as on Ye Playboys and Playgirls, except that the mood here is joyous rather than somber. Well worth hearing.
